DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE

For over 35 years, the KSC team has served as an inspiring source of national pride. During this time, the KSC team developed a superb record of accomplishments, and KSC has received significant national recognition as a high quality organization. KSC is committed to NASA's strategic planning process. It is the key to the success of our nation's space program and our future as well. Attached is the initial KSC implementation plan which shows how KSC supports each of the four NASA strategic enterprises.

This plan is the initial step in defining KSC's role in current and future NASA endeavours. It will help us lead our Agency responsibilities and see how we fit into the enterprise plans. In working the next iteration of this plan, we will develop a clearer focus by prioritizing and concentrating our efforts on critical strategies to assure we achieve our objectives.

We have very significant responsibilities within the Agency and I believe the future of KSC is bright. It is the responsibility of each one of us to continually look for innovative ways for the KSC team to contribute the most value to our enterprise and Agency goals and objectives.
