Space Coast Chapter - Federally Employed Women
Federally Employed Women (FEW) is
an organization dedicated to helping its members -- members which
include women and men of all agencies, as well as members outside
the federal sector who support FEW's goals
and objectives. FEW is a national organization comprised of federal and military
personnel concerned with the quality of life in the federal service.
We offer exceptional training programs, pertinent legislative information,
career counseling, leadership opportunities, and networking and social
interaction of professionals.
Currently, there are active chapters in 34 states, the District of Columbia, and five foreign countries. Through its publications,
training and legislative program, FEW provides
its members with the information and opportunities they need to realize
their full potential. FEW is the only organization that recognizes
the diverse needs and interests of all federal women -- in all occupations,
at all grade levels, at all agencies, from various racial and ethnic
backgrounds. FEW also includes men interested
in focusing on issues affecting women and the workplace. Lots of women's
issues are family issues, and affect men, too. Others are issues of
career development, administrative policy, and legislation, and men
are going to be important players in approaching those issues. FEW
puts them, if they want to be, inside the
organization.
