Close-up view of Apollo 12 sample 12,065 under observation in the Manned
Spacecraft Center's Lunar Receiving Laboratory. This sample, collected
during the second Apollo 12 extravehicular activity (EVA-2) of Astronauts
Charles Conrad Jr., and Alan L. Bean, is a fine-grained rock. Note the
glass-lined pits. An idea of the size of the rock can be gained by
reference to the gauge on the bottom portion of the number meter.
