Title: View of the Lunar Portable Magnetometer (LPM)
Description:
Close-up view of the Lunar Portable Magnetometer (LPM), which will be used
by the crew of the Apollo 14 lunar landing mission during the second
extravehicular activity (EVA-2). The LPM's components, a tripoid-mounted
flux-gate magnetometer sensor head and an electronics data package,
connected by a 50-foot flat cable, function together to measure variations
