35 during Apollo Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) joint crew training at JSC. They 
are, left to right, Cosmonaut Aleksay A. Leonov, commander of the Soviet
ASTP  first (prime) crew; Astronaut Donald K. Slayton, docking module pilot
of the  American ASTP prime crew; and Astronaut Thomas P. Stafford,
commander of the  American ASTP prime crew.
