during the joint U.S.-USSR Apoll Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) mission. The
view includes Snoqualmie Pass, Cle Elum Lake, Kachess Lake and Keechelus
Lake. The picture was taken at an altitude of 228 kilometers (141 statute
miles).
