Riding the elevator to the white room atop the Gemini Launch Vehicle on Pad 
19 are Astronauts Alan B. Shepard Jr. (left) and John W. Young. The 
Gemini-Titan 3 flight was scheduled on march 23, 1965. Young is the pilot
of  the GT-3 mission. Shepard was the Mercury Redstone 3 pilot.
