Title: Skylab 2 Solar Physics Experiment
Description:
Skylab 2 Solar Physics Experiment. This black and white view of a solar
flare was taken from the skylab remote solar experiment module mounted on
top of the vehicle and worked automatically without any interaction from
the crew. Solar flares or sunspots are eruptions on the sun's surface and
appear to occur in cycles. When these cycles occur, there is worldwide
electromagnetic interference affecting radio and television transmission.
