  Galileo spacecraft, an STS-34 Atlantis, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 104, payload,
  is  lifted onto its workstand at Kennedy Space Center's (KSC's) Spacecraft 
  Assembly and Encapsulation Facility 2 (SAEF-2) as clean-suited technicians 
  look on.  Galileo is a spacecraft that will be launched aboard the space 
  shuttle and sent into orbit around the planet Jupiter.  The entire Galileo 
  assembly includes a 5870-pound spacecraft, a planetary probe (which arrived 
  last month) and an inertial upper stage (IUS) booster.  Galileo is
  scheduled  for launch aboard OV-104 on STS-34 in October 1989.  View
