  the  Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) at the Kennedy Space
  Center  (KSC).  Sitting next to the open hatch is a KSC fire / security
  officer.   Columbia, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 102, on KSC Launch Complex (LC)
  Pad 39A  appears in the background.  The two-day TCDT, which began
  04-27-90, is a  dress rehearsal for launch.  STS-35 is set to lift off in
