  STS-41 crewmembers give "thumbs up" signal while standing in front of 
  Discovery, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 103, parked on concrete runway 22 at
  Edwards  Air Force Base (EAFB), California.  Having just completed their
  mission, the  crewmembers are still wearing their launch and entry suits
  (LESs).  From left  to right are Mission Specialist (MS) Thomas D. Akers,
  Pilot Robert D. Cabana,  Commander Richard N. Richards, MS Bruce E.
  Melnick, and MS William M.  Shepherd.  Set up at OV-103's side hatch is a
  mobile stairway which the crew  uses to egress the vehicle and which
  technicians use when safing the vehicle  during postflight operations.
