  European Space Agency (ESA) Mission Specialist (MS) Claude Nicollier,
  turning  a crank, extends a tetherline from a reel mounted on a mockup of
  the forward  payload bay (PLB) bulkhead. Nicollier familiarizes himself
  with the operation  of the safety tether system prior to donning an
  extravehicular mobility unit  (EMU) and participating in an underwater
  extravehicular activity (EVA) simu-  lation in JSC's Weightless Environment
  Training Facility (WETF) Bldg 29 pool.
