  STS-47 Endeavour, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 105, Commander Robert L. Gibson 
  demonstrates the use of one of the various kinds of fire extinguishers 
  during fire fighting exercises held at JSC's Fire Training Pit.  The crew 
  learned about the various types of extinguishers and the kinds of fires for 
  which they are best suited.  Looking on are (left to right) backup Payload 
  Specialist Stan Koszelak, Payload Specialist Mamoru Mohri, backup Payload 
  Specialist Chiaki Naito-Mukai, and Mission Specialist (MS) N. Jan Davis.  
  Mohri and Mukai represent Japan's National Space Development Agency
  (NASDA).   The Fire Training Pit is located across from the Gilruth Center
  Bldg 207.
