  STS-48 crewmembers, wearing launch and entry suits (LESs) and launch and 
  entry helmets (LEHs), watch post landing egress demonstration with training 
  personnel before practicing the procedures themselves.  From left to right 
  are Mission Specialist (MS) Mark N. Brown, MS James F. Buchli, MS Charles
  D.  Gemar, Commander John O. Creighton, and Pilot Kenneth S. Reightler, Jr.
  The  simulation was held in JSC's Full Fuselage Trainer (FFT) located in
  the  Mockup and Integration Laboratory (MAIL) Bldg 9A.  This rehearsal is
  part of  the training necessary for the crew's mission aboard Discovery,
  Orbiter  Vehicle (OV) 103, scheduled for mid-September of this year.
