  Title: STS-48 Commander Creighton uses camcorder on OV-103's aft flight deck
  Description:
  STS-48 Commander John O. Creighton, positioned under overhead window W7, 
  records mission activities using a CANON camcorder on the aft flight deck
  of  the earth-orbiting Discovery, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 103.  At Creighton's
  left  are the mission station control panels.  This view was recorded by
  the  electronic still camera (ESC).  Crewmembers were testing the ESC as
  part of  Development Test Objective (DTO) 648, Electronic Still
  Photography.  The  digital image was stored on a removable hard disk or
  small optical disk, and  could be converted to a format suitable for
  downlink transmission.  The ESC  is making its initial appearance on this
  Space Shuttle mission.
