Title: STS-49, OV-105, INTELSAT capture scene illustrated with PLAID graphics
  Description:
STS-49 Endeavour, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 105, International
Telecommunications Satellite Organization (INTELSAT) onorbit repair and
redeployment activity is illustrated with PLAID computer graphics. An
extravehicular mobility unit (EMU) suited astronaut, on the remote
manipulator system (RMS) manipulator foot restraint (MFR), is maneuvered
into capture position at INTELSAT VI's aft side. Once the capture bar
with grapple fixture is attached to the satellite, it will be lowered into
OV-105's payload bay (PLB). Two crewmembers will then mate INTELSAT VI
with the perigee stage (depicted in lower left), so that the satellite can
be boosted to a higher, geosynchronous orbit. This view is one of a
series that depicts the sequence of events NASA plans to unfold in the
rescue of the errant INTELSAT VI satellite.
