  STS-49 Endeavour, Orbiter Vehicle (OV) 105, International
  Telecommunications Satellite Organization (INTELSAT) VI-R mass simulator
  exercise with astronaut F. Story Musgrave using the Errant Satellite
  Simulator in the Mockup and  Integration Laboratory Bldg 9NE.  Ground-based
  exercises were conducted after  several failed INTELSAT capture attempts
  during the STS-49 mission.  Musgrave  uses the capture bar to grapple
  INTELSAT (35413, 35414, 35415) and a  telescopic pole to slow INTELSAT spin
  (35416, 35417).  Test results provided  input for orbiting STS-49
  crewmembers on possible alternate INTELSAT capture  procedures.
