Launch Services Support Specialist
Launch Services Program
Kennedy Space Center, Fla.

A native of Brevard County, Florida, Tiffany Nail began her civil service career in 1993 in NASA's co-operative education program at Brevard Community College. Her co-op work experience in the Space Shuttle Program Launch Integration (MK) organization provided her with a comprehensive learning opportunity and overview of NASA's goals, missions, and objectives.

Her career track and increasing responsibilities within NASA have included supportive roles in Payload and Industrial Safety Branch RT-SOE-3, Quality Engineering Division RM-ENG, Shuttle Orbiter Processing Facility Quality Division EY-L, and Payload Ground Systems BR. She joined the Expendable Launch Vehicle (ELV) Program in 1997, where she has served as a Launch Services Support Specialist and key facilitator in the actualization of KSC/ELV road signs and the ongoing development of ELV's Web site.

While pursuing her A.S. and A.A. degrees, Nail also served in the summer intern program at the local office of Congressman Dave Weldon, a space advocate. In 1999, after working full-time for NASA while simultaneously attending upper division college night classes, she received her Bachelor of Science degree after attending her last class as a Florida State University transient student in Paris, France from the University of Central Florida (UCF). She has been inducted into UCF’s Golden Key Honor Society.

Nail has been involved in the performing arts since her early childhood. In 2001, she received certificates from the Lisa Maile Image, Modeling, and Acting School in Orlando, Florida. Her hobbies are sailing, fitness workouts, reading, and walking her Chihuahua. She has been a member of the Junior League of South Brevard.
