INTRODUCTION

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE NLS
The proposed contract represents NASA's requirements for domestic
launch services with a minimum performance capability of placing a 250 kilogram spacecraft in a 200 kilometer low earth orbit at an inclination
of 28.5 degrees. This procurement will seek to adopt the best commercial
practices and customs while ensuring Agency mission needs are satisfied
via safe and reliable access to space.
